Meet Jill Kells

Hi there!

 

I am the founder and creative force behind The Kells Collective, an event planning business built on thoughtful details, meaningful moments, and beautifully organized celebrations. I was born and raised in Parkville, Missouri, and have lived there my entire life. KC & Parkville is a community that has deeply shaped who I am and how I approach my work.  With a background in education and a master’s degree in administration, I bring structure, creativity, and a calm, confident approach to every event I plan, along with an outgoing, personable style that instantly puts clients at ease.

 

After years as a teacher, I spent the past two decades as a stay-at-home mom while remaining deeply involved in my community. I have volunteered extensively with my daughters’ schools, local hospitals, and sports booster clubs, often serving as the go-to person for organizing events, fundraisers, and special celebrations. Along the way, I discovered what would become my signature strength: creating unique, personalized experiences that make people feel truly special.

 

I am highly organized, love to throw a great party, and thrive on connecting with people. I take pride in planning elevated, memorable events while staying mindful of budget, finding smart deals, and creative solutions that save clients money without sacrificing style or quality. From personalized gifts to carefully curated details, every event is thoughtfully designed around what matters most to the people being celebrated.

 

I live with my amazing husband, Allan, our three daughters Tatum, Ava, and Sloane, and our two French bulldogs, Luna and Ruby. When I'm not planning events, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exercising, and doing what I love most, bringing people together and making life’s moments unforgettable!
